Hypermobility in Circus Arts with Laurel Wolfzinger, PT, DPT

Prerequisites: none
Do you experience excessive joint mobility or find yourself more prone to injuries compared to your circus peers? Have you ever been told you are "double-jointed"? You might be experiencing hypermobility. In this class, you'll learn what hypermobility is, how it affects your body, and how to prevent injuries specific to your condition. You'll also discover techniques to stabilize your joints and improve your circus practice, making it safer and more comfortable.
This workshop is led by Laurel Wolfzinger, PT, DPT, a physical therapist who specializes in hypermobility, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and the care of performing artists.
